PRESIDENTS’ MESSAGE

Dear Classmates,

It only happens once every hundred years and we are the one and only Cornell Centennial Class. As we look forward to our 50th Reunion, we are asking for your help in making the Sesquicentennial Year of Cornell's founding the finest, biggest and best reunion in Cornell history.

What can you do to help? First of all, join us on the Hill for fun, for friendship (new and old), for first-class activities and fine Cornell dining. Reunion Chairs Myron Jacobson and Grace Morgenstein are planning a special "blast from the past" for us all. Please watch for their emails and visit our Class of ’65 website often. Volunteers (to do a little or a lot) are needed and warmly appreciated.

To prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime event, we are improving on communications with you. Your class has joined the social media stampede. Visit our new class Facebook page. No Facebook account is necessary. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cornell-Class-of-1965-50th- Reunion/112478055494624..
Visit Cornell Connect. Click on https://netid.cornell.edu/netidactivation/netid.html?type=alumni. We want to know what you think, so please let us know, in any communication format you prefer, what’s on your mind.

We have started a new Catch Up with Classmates section on the website. We also have a section devoted to longer pieces about classmates called Of Human Interest. We encourage you to send us your information and stories. Please send them to Barry Cutler. Please help us plan and enjoy "mini-reunions," which are taking place across the country. Contact Lou Ferraro, our events coordinator and he will help you with logistics. Contact them.

Help our Class continue to sponsor scholarships, digitize our senior year of the Cornell Daily Sun, provide you with the book incoming freshman classes read, and send you the Cornell Magazine with its news of Cornell and the Classes. We need 500 dues payers to cover all of our expenses. The count stands at 444, only 56 more to go. If you are already a dues payer, please reach out to classmates and encourage them to join you and all of us who support our class and the "Cornell 2015 Now" initiative.

We made many friendships at Cornell, some deep and lasting, others more fleeting and we have lost touch with friends over the years. Let’s all reach out as we approach our 50th. Volunteer, give as much of your time and talents as you can, make new friends and reunite with old ones. Our Centennial Class and Cornell and you will benefit.

Stay well,

George
